On March 31th 2025, UNESCO Chair Salerno “Plants for Health in the Mediterranean Traditions” is on Sanità&Ricerca– Scenari – the supplement of “Sole 24 Ore”, with a long artiche that can lengthen the audience’s understanding of the Chair’s goals and activities.
The main concepts related to – Hystory, Ethnomedicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Innovation – for the development of a new Mediterranean Phytotherapy are described.
UNESCO Chair Salerno is a model of international cooperation, with special attention to the environment, aimed to support the global health e sustainable economic development.
The model starts from the study of the knowledge on plants for health in the ancient Mediterranean cultures to offer prevention and therapy today and in the next future.
