1st Conference on Fitoalimurgy, Campobasso, February 28 – March 1, 2026

Giovanni Canora, founding member of the UNESCO Chair Salerno “Plants for Health in the Tradition of the Mediterranean”, will take part in the 1st Conference on Fitoalimurgy, an event dedicated to the study, enhancement, and transmission of knowledge related to the traditional use of wild edible plants.
The Conference is promoted by three Italian universities in collaboration with the Associazione Italiana di Fitoalimurgia (AIF).

The Conference is addressed to researchers, professionals in the field, holders of traditional knowledge, and all those interested in fitoalimurgy and ethnobotany. Its aim is to foster dialogue between scientific research, local traditions, and sustainable practices.

Online participation

To ensure the widest possible participation, the Conference sessions may also be attended remotely. The event will be hosted on Microsoft Teams; the access link will be sent to all registered participants on Friday, February 27, 2026. All Conference presentations will be recorded and made available for asynchronous viewing. Information on how to access the recordings will be communicated to registered participants after the event.
