“UNISA Pari Opportunità” UNISA Level Playing Field in collaboration with “Neolaia” Transforming Regions for an inclusive Europe and the Interdepartment Centre in “Public Philosophy e Public Science” UNISA CIP3S, organize the fascinating UNISA Kid Day which will be held in the main Campus of the University of Salerno on April 2nd.
The topic is a story telling on the Salerno Medical School and its female doctors, mainly Trotula, discovering ideas, suggestions and vision of the School to young people. The programme comprises
- PERFORMANCE OF THE MUSICAL TROTULA AND THE MAGIC GARDEN
- CREATIVE TEACHING WORKSHOP – TROTULA and COSMETICS: Plants and remedies for Wellness and Health from Middle Ages to date
Rita Aquino, Chair Holder, Teresa Mencherini and Tiziana Esposito, Team Leaders of Salerno UNESCO Chair “Plants for Health in the Medirerranean Traditions” will guide teenagers and children in a lab on the – Use of plants for health in the Mediterranean area, – Cross-fertilisation of Arab and Greak-Roman cultures , – One Health concept, supporting the UNESCO mission and UN 2030 Goals 3 Healthy Lives and Well-Being, 13 Combat climate change and its impacts and 15 Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems and biodiversity.
