An interview with our Chair Holder, Rita P. Aquino, in the newspaper Sole 24 ore. Following a significant academic career in the R&D of new products for human health and drug and cosmetics delivery, Rita Aquino is the leader of the Chair. She is engaged in the intriguing challenge of combining history, culture and medical traditions in the Mediterranean area with the most advanced scientific studies and technologies. Thanks to the co-founders, researchers of international standing, and an all-female scientific team at DIFARMA, Plants for Health in the Mediterranean Traditions is a model of trans-disciplinary cooperation.
