The UNESCO Chair Plantae Medicinales Mediterraneae took part in the 73rd International Congress and Annual Meeting of the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research (GA), held in Naples from August 31 to September 3, 2025, in collaboration with the Italian Society of Phytochemistry (SIF).
The Congress represented an event of high scientific and cultural relevance, bringing together scholars, researchers, and professionals from across the globe to discuss and exchange the latest developments in the field of medicinal plants and natural products. The participation of the Chair provided a significant opportunity to present its research activities, underline the contribution of Mediterranean medicinal plants to global health promotion, and strengthen dialogue with a distinguished international scientific community
